In the year 2018, when “UTTAR PRADESH” government introduced “One District One Product” (ODOP) scheme and allotted banana fiber & value-added product to “SHREE MYTHILI ENTERPRISES”. Sri Raj Narayan Roy residing at Kushinagar who was looking to change his business considered this as good opportunity and decided to enter the business with the help of the government. He also roped his wife Anita Roy who is known as ODOP district master trainer, a successful woman entrepreneur, and culinary skill to assist particularly in making food products of the banana origin. Kushinagar is known for banana cultivation, and cheap labor enabled Sri Raj Narayan roy to venture into this business vigorously.

About Us

To Equip with knowledge of banana fiber and value added products, we decided to visit the Head office of banana research “NATIONAL RESEARCH CENTER OF BANANA” (NRCB), TRICHY. We have under gone extensive training in Extraction of banana fiber & making food products. We also acquired knowledge on various types of machinery involved in process as well as learned to operate them. Learned to weave banana fiber, we went for weaving training for a year at MINISTRY OF TEXTILE CHENNAI & SALEM learned to weave and dyeing technology. On return we started our business. Thus was Shree Mythili Enterprises was born with the brand name of Karpura. Presently Shree Mythili Enterprises is looked after by Smt. Anita Roy Proprietor and her husband Sri. Rajnarayan as Director.

We are providing employment to 40 to 50 rural, poor woman laborers. that gives immense satisfaction. we wish to increase the no of labors to AT LEAST 200.
